Mr. Brittain is an executive vice president in the Newport Beach office and product manager for PIMCO's absolute return strategies and structured product initiatives. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2002, he was responsible for Lyster Watson & Company's hedge fund institutional advisory business. He has 27 years of investment experience and holds a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Chicago and a master's degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
