Mr. Brittain is an executive vice president in the Newport Beach office and a member of the product management group. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2002, he worked in the field of alternative investing and had a long career in investment banking at Salomon Brothers, Swiss Bank Corporation and Lehman Brothers. He has 29 years of investment experience and holds a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Chicago and a master's degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
